Huw is currently presenting a brand new show for Kix TV (Sky 627) which brings the Science of Sport alive!

The show, which Huw presents with Co-Science Junkie Greg Foot, is a fresh view of science. Huw and Greg look at Centre of Mass from the top of a cliff, the magnus effect at Wembley Stadium and how work and power play a part at the Skatepark.

Huw says "We're really looking to show that science is something that can help on day to day things as well as in the lab. Any time I do sport I'm thinking about the spin of the ball or the geology of the rock or the shape of an ocean wave. We really want to get kids out trying these sports too which really help the development of key skills in students nowadays".

SportsLab will air on Kix TV (Sky 627) throughout the summer of 2011.
